Sweet Corn Festival! ! !

Well this weekend was the Sweet Corn Festival downtown Normal. The corn was plentiful and the blues music was done by the Blues Decons out of Champain, IL. There were lots of crafts and cute dogs. I may go back tomorrow and get some more corn and music. I got 8 ears for $2 and I think that was a deal! ! !

Gas prices and motorcycles! ! !

Well as gas prices keep going up, I'm seriously looking at getting a new bike to ride. The scooter is kool, but I'm having problems finding people to work on it in the area and parts are even harder to find. Someone on the news said something about gas hitting the $3 more within the next few weeks. So I was browsing the internet looking for something cheep and one of my girlfriends said I should just go ahead and get a Harley. LOL! ! ! At the moment the one I want cost $25.5K and way out of my budget! ! ! But it is beautiful! ! !
